The learning center here at landscape solutions for you is here for all ages. The outside world provides each of us with so much potential to gain knowledge and understand the oudoor environment. This section has many different topics that will help your students, your children, your organization, and yourself work and grow together. This section also is a place where you can interact with other people from around the world. Take the steps to not only understand your own geographic surroundings, but other climates, plant life, and natural wonders.
The first picture shows you orange fungus
on a tree. Some fungus can infect people
if touched. When removing fungus from a
tree or ground, it is important to
take precautions with your body. Always
research and identify the fungus before
removing it. This is also true for wild
mushrooms. Know what type of mushroom it
is before you pick it up, or consider
eating it. Studying these aspects of
the world of nature will also allow yourself
as well as students to understand the possible
dangers of nature. If you live in a farm area where soybeans are grown, have the community work together in educating the younger generation about the entire process to harvesting.
If you live by the ocean, explore the beaches and find the different natural wonders of this beautiful enity of nature. Science classes as well as Biology labs are teaching about plant specimens, the germination process, and different aspects of horticulture. History and geography teachers are using nature and teaching students about a variety of cultures and geographic locations around the world. Pre - school and young children are learning about the four seasons and using the five senses to develop each child's awareness of their surrounding environment.
The photo on the right is natural moss
growing on trees and in a wooded area. Taking that school
field trip can show you different aspects of
nature. Seeing the natural beauty of moss growing throughout
a wooded area, or along a warm climate plantation. This is such a wonderful
experience for all ages.
Families are taking the time
to do outdoor projects together.
Planting a garden or going for a nature walk
are two things that can enrich the entire family
and bring the family unit back together. Non
profit organizations and many different clubs
are doing purposeful projects in their own
communities to teach people to work
together.
This is a photo of a group of business associates that went on a series
of different outdoor trips together. This was totally volunteer, but
just something each one wanted to do. They enjoyed the time as
professional peers away from the work environment. They also
got a chance to learn new knowledge of nature in their
geogrpahic location. A great way of team building and relaxation
away from the stress of their jobs. One of my goals here at landscape solutions for you is to provide information for many different age groups. This learning center will be the central place to visit on educational topics that will enhance students as well as teachers. I have worked in school systems, been a lead teacher in a pre - school setting, and have spoken at many garden clubs. Having owned a landscape and design business over the years has given me the opportunity to help you in learning about a variety of topics in the landscape article section. The content pages are simple to read and can provide easy and descriptive suggestions for any landscape, garden or plant project.
There are many ways of teaching and learning about different aspects of gardening, landscaping and even indoor planters and gardens. These all are great to incorporate nature into a classroom or at home setting.

These two pictures represent the beauty of the mountains.
Taking a colored picture and then one in sepia creates a
new idea for learning about nature and different colors.
