A Southern Flower Photo Gallery Page

A southern flower photo gallery page is worth taking a browse through. This part of the United States is known for its vibrant springtime colors. There is also gorgeous different flowering shrubs and plants throughout the year. Many of these flowers also grow in different geographic locations. Some of you get the chance to experience them during their amazing bloom time.

The Bradford Pear trees begin the process in spring with their magnificent white blossoms along with the Dogwoods. April turns into Azalea heaven as well as blooming Cherry Trees. Many other shrubs start showing off their colors as well. Summer brings a new breed of plant specimens to life. The Rhododendrons, Hyrdrangeas, Hibiscus, and Cana Lilies share their beauty in many neighborhoods. I know I could list a couple pages long of wonderful different flowering shrubs as well as annual and perennial flowers.

The Crepe Myrtles take over in late July and their radiant colors last well into the warm month of September. The autumn brings cooler temperatures. By October the thoughts down southchange into the forthcoming holidays. Just when we experience the trees dropping their leaves for the winter months, the beautiful Camellia with its variety of colors takes the center stage. Many of the Camellias stay in bloom throughout the colder months. A grand color appears around Christmas. The dwarf Yultide shows off its red blossom during this special holiday. There are truly so many more flowers in this part of the country. The landscape here is also one of traditional beauty. Take a look at a simple design I did of Azaleas, And Dogwoods, A Southern Landscape Design and see how each plant represent a colorful heritage. Below are ten different photos of just a couple of hand full of our wonderful trees, shrubs and flowers that surround the landscapes in this part of the country. The last two set of pictures are four different varieties of Crepe Myrtles.

Each of these wonderful flowers brings so much joy to the southern United States. Part of this area is also surrounded by beautiful coastal and mountain scenery. I will be doing a series in the next few months on coastal plants and the beauty surrounding different coastlines. The pictures in photography of natural landscapes for you to enjoy allows you to get a glimpse of some of the sensational mountain views around here. I have really enjoyed sharing this photo gallery page with you and I hope you have gotten a little sense of the beauty in this area. I wrote at the end of the page in the landscape mountain photography piece to come and visit or area. I promise, our southern charm will welcome you with open arms.
