Table Rock State Park - Beautiful Hiking Trails and Scenery

Table Rock State Park is located in the upstate of the state of South Carolina in the southern United States. The Park is in Pickens Country. This State Park and others are located close to Greenville, where I live. The natural beauty that surrounds this area and other parts of the southern United States are truly breathtaking.The Parks facilities offer many different activities for families as well as educational groups, and non - profit organizations. There are two wonderful camping areas that ranges from one night to fourteen days stay. There are 100 campsites that form a loop. Besides camping, there is a a nature center that creates a great learning environment for any age group. The Nature center elevation is around 1,160 feet.

There are many other places of interest with a community recreational area, restaurant serving home cooked all you can eat meals. Cabins are nestled near striking Pinnacle Lake. There are over thirteen miles of trails and range from a moderate to strenuous hike. As with any nature hike in a State Park, always check in at the Ranger station before beginning your hike.





All of these trails are known for the beautiful natural settings in each season. Pinnacle Mountain peak is surrounded by trees and awesome views are seen more at Table Rock summit. Hiking trails consists of Carrick Creek, Bald Rock, Foothills, Pinnacle, (elevation at summit is 3,225) and Table Rock Mountain trail. (elevation at peak is 3,124) Both of these two hikes are longer and more strenuous.
