A quick question

by stephanie
(Georgia)

My landscape design calls for a 2-10 gallon Robin Holly as anchors on each end of my home. I would love to substitute another plant. I live in Georgia just outside Atlanta. Any ideas?

Question On Plants At Either End
by: Kimberly

Hi Sephanie, Kimberly here from landscape solutions for you. Thank you for asking the question on different plants you could put on either end of your landscape.

Am not sure if the area has full sun or partial sun, but here are some suggestions for you.

1. Holmsturp Arborvitae - evergreen

2. Degroots Arborvitae - evergreen

3. Tea Olive - evergreen - one of my favorites, especially for zone seven where you live.

4. Cleyera - evergreen

5. Lemon Thread Cypress - evergreen - variegated that may look nice, depending on what other specimens you are planning.

These are just a couple of ideas for you. There are many other possibilities, so if you would like more, let me know if the area has full sun or some shade, and if you are looking for an evergreen or deciduous specimen, as well as what height and width you would like.

Thanks again Stephanie for asking the question here at landscape solutions for you. Feel free to ask anytime and if you need more information, don't hestitate to ask. Good luck to you and have a great day.
Kimberly
