My Company has just started a Health/Wellness program. The company will pay up to $10 a month ($1 for each work out up to 10) at 30 minute facility.) They will pay $1 per visit for preventive medical procedures such as visit to dentist, pap test,eye tests and such. I think this is a great idea to help encourage healthy employees. At my husband's factory they are now paying the cost to join a fitness program like Curves.
My company also just did a month of stepping into shape. We had to pay a dollar into the pool and then keep track for a month of daily exercise. We had to set goals for each week. At the end of the month the top person receives the pot of money and this year my company matched the amount of money to go to the second person!!!
