Natural Edging For A Wood Chip Berm
by: Kimberly

Hi, Kimberly here from landscape solutions for you. Thank you for asking the question on a natural edging for a berm that has wood chips.

One of the first things that come to mind is natural stones or rocks. They would hold the wood chips in place, as well as provide a decorative edging. If you have any rocks or stones around your area, you wouldn't have to purchase them. If you don't, there are many places that sell decorative mid size rocks or stones.

You want to have rocks that you can handle. You can lay them done in a straight pattern, or create a zig zag pattern. This will depend on what you want and the contour of the berm.

Of course you can put down landscape timbers or railroad ties also. This creates a natural look as well.

I personally like the look of the natural rocks or stones. This is really up to you. I hope I have helped you in answering the question. Thanks again for asking here at landscape solutions for you. Feel free to ask anytime and have a great day!
Kimberly
