Planting Privacy Trees
by: Anonymous

Hi: This is landscape solutions for you. I wanted to go ahead and give you some suggestions so you can move forward to get some privacy. In your climate zone there are a few good fast growing evergreens that will work.

The Leyland Cypress and the Emerald Green Aborvitae are both wonderful fast growing trees. The Emerald Green is not as tall and can mature anywhere from ten to twenty feet. Each of these specimens will grow three to four feet a year. The are low maintenance and will give you great privacy.

The Osmanthus or Tea Olive is a great ornamental tree that will also grow fast. Tiny white flowers appear throughout the year and it has a wonderful aroma. This is a wider plant specimen and you may need to prune it more often.(very popular tree)

The other options are Black Dragon Cryptomeria and the Arizona Cypress or Carolina Sapphire. Both of these specimens make a wonderful privacy screen.

I hope this has given you some ideas and good luck to you. Thank you for taking the time to visit landscape solutions for you and feel free to comment anytime. Contact me at the website if you need any further suggestions or help.

Does anyone else have other suggestions to help with privacy in the Sacramento area?
