Pacasandra how do you get rid of unwanted pacasandra besides using a roto-tiller? I have some decorative trees nearby- I though about putting down a good layer of brush killer then fresh top soil then either grass or additional plants

Pacasandra and Removal
by: Kimberly

Hi Gary, Kimberly here from landscape solutions for you. Thank you for asking the question on your Pacasandra and removing it.

I would recommend an herbicide and you can use round up. Apply it to the area. Wait five to seven days to make sure the root system is dead.

Rake out the area. Spread some good quality top soil over the area. This is a great way to prep the area before planting grass or plant specimens.

There is a chance you may have to do two applications of the herbicide if needed. This should take care of the Pacasandra.

Thanks again Gary for asking the question and feel free to ask anytime. Have a great day.
Kimberly
