Lavender Plants In Planters
by: Kimberly

Hi Richard, Kimberly here from landscape solutions for you. Thank you for asking the question on your Lavender plants. Albany, New York? I was born in Schenectady years ago. :)

I have grown thousands of herb plants and lavender is one of my favorites. I personally like lavender in pots by themselves. They are unique species with their own aroma and texture. If you want to add a little color to the lavender, get small sprigs of ivy and put on either side of the main Lavender plant. The Ivy will flow down the sides.

You also have the option of purchasing a few more pots and put some flowers or other herbs in them. Another idea for you is to purchase a larger planter and plant the Lavender in the center. Surround the Lavender with the Ivy or smaller flowers, such as Dianthus, Lamium, or dwarf versions of Lantana or Verbena. Looks great.

Hope this helps you and let us know what you decide. Thanks again for asking the question here at landscape solutions for you. Have a great afternoon and feel free to ask anytime.
Kimberly
