Plants Around Propane Tank
by: Kimberly

Hi Shirlee, Kimberly here from lanscape-solutions-for-you. Thank you for asking the question on your propane tank. There are many different varieites of plant specimens that can be placed around a propane tank to create a wonderful garden look. I am not sure if the propane tank is in shade or sun, but here are a few suggestions that come to mind...

1. Arborvitaes- there are many different varieties you can plant. They are evergreen -

2. Cypress - the Lemon Thread is a great choice as it is taller than the Mop Cypress - also evergreen -

3. Loropetalums - Great evergreen shrubs that will also give you some color -

4. Junipers - evergreens and the Sea Green or Blue Owl would work well -

5. Cleyera = great shrub that can be used to hide outside items like your propane tank or also air conditioning units -

6. Hollies will work well -

These are just a few different shrubs that will give you color year around and also hide your propane tank. If you haven't visited the gallery of plants section, this is a good section for you to get some other ideas.

Best of luck to you and thanks again for asking your question. Feel free to visit and ask questions anytime. Have a great day!
Kimberly
