Pruning Shrubs
by: Kimberly

Hi, Kimberly here from landscape solutions for you. Thank you for asking the question on pruning your shrubs.

I am not sure of your geographic location, but I recommend to my clients to prune in the fall or spring. September and October are great months to prune.

I am not sure what type of shrubs you have, but most shrubs can be pruned in the fall. Your main goal is to properly prune each shrub. Keeping the shrub in its natural form is the general rule, unless you want a formal look. I will give you the link to the proper pruning page.

If you live in a warm climate, do wait until the weather cools down. Thanks again for asking the question and feel free to ask anytime. Have a great day and good luck with your shrubs.
Kimberly
