iIam trying to identify a plant

by mary

I have a variegated curly leafed plant that keeps dropping its leaves. The leaves are red and brownish green oblong and they don't seem to like water or dryness. I am watching the leaves fall off to the point that i have two naked stalks. Some of the leaves look like they have leaves coming off of them. I'd like to know what it is and how to care for it. I believe it may be a house plant but do not know for sure.

Identifying Plant
by: Kimberly

Hi Mary,
Kimberly here from landscape-solutions-for-you. Thank you for asking about your plant. I have been thinking and trying to formulate in my mind what type of plant you have. I do have a few questions for you that might narrow down the possiblilies.

1. Is the plant outside right now?
2. What climate zone do you live in?
3. Is the plant in a container or in the ground?
4. How established is the plant?

You described it very well, and I have a few possiblities, but if you could give us a little more details, that would be wonderful. Also, if at all possible, could you download a picture so we could see the plant. I don't want to make a guess and give you the wrong information. Thank you very much. Hope to hear from you soon and have a great day.
Kimberly
