Oct 19, Gardening Design, The Make Over - Before and After

A garden make over doesn't have to be complicated or expensive. This simple hand drawn design in the examples of landscape designs I did for a client a
few years ago. She had been living in her house for quite a few yeas and many of her shrubs had gotten old and leggy. Planning out your make over and
proper prepping, will give you a great foundation for your make over. A great investment to unattractive and old plants.

Oct 16, Dark Curly Leaf Ligustrum - A Great Idea For An Entrance

The Dwarf Curly Leaf Ligustrum is one of my favorite dwarf shrubs to incorporate in an entrance area of a
garden or landscape. The deep rich green color and shiny leaves create a unique specimen. The Dark Curly Leaf Ligustrum does well in zones seven
through ten in the United States and is considered a warmer climate shrub. This page in the variety of more plant sections shares a few photos and description of this lovely evergreen. Any Ligustrum make a great focal point or accent plant. If you are thinking about planting something to create an entrance way, this is a winner for sure.
