Hi, Kimberly here from landscape solutions for you. I apologize for the delay in answering your question on the amount of river rock you will need. I have been out of town at a business conference.

You will need about 58 tons of river rock, or around 45 yards. This is if you are covering between one and two inches thick. I am not sure where you are located, but in my geographic location, the cost would be around $4,000.

You also have the option of going online and type the keywords gravel estimators. You may be able to get a more accurate cost for your own area.
