Please identify the plant

by Etienne Steyn
(Hendrina, Mpumalanga, South Africa)

I have this huge plant in my house. It was originally growing in the property where I worked and was tiny when I got it about a foot high. I dug it up and planted it in a large pot and now about ten years later it stands about 8 feet high. Could someone please tell me what the plant is? It has large leaves that looks almost like fingers. On the picture it is the one in the corner. Would appreciate any help.
Thank you
Etienne Steyn
