There is about 16 feet between my house and the niebours house there is also our walkway to the back yard through that space, their kitchen window looks onto our deck. I want a tree there, not too tall, not a huge root system, and also clean, no fruit, or suckers to root in the lawn. Thanks for any suggestion. Sharon

Privacy Tree For Narrow Space

Hi Sharon, Kimberly here from landscape solutions for you. Thank you for asking the question on a narrow tree for your narrow space.

Here are a couple of suggestions for you.

1. Italian Cypress - fast growing narrow evergreen that is used in small spaces.
2. Emerald Green Arborvitae - another fast growing evergreen. The Emerald Green is wider than the Italian Cypress.
3. Nellie Stevens Holly - a little more of a slow growing evergreen.
4.Black Dragon Cryptomeria - evergreen
