Hello,

I have small yard with dimension 5 X 1,4 meters, and I want to complete it!
In the middle of my yard I want to create small hill with alpine with evergreen trees!
More precisely:
I want to create Hill with diameter 1,4 meters and there I want to plant 2 Taxusis and
2-3 Arborvitaes, and around it I want to plant small Pigmy trees, but I can’t find good
combination of it on internet, please give me any idea!

With Regard
Badi

Hi Blagoj, Kimberly here from landscape solutions for you. Her are a couple of options for you. They are simple and placement on drawing isn't accurate, but you can get the idea. Let me know what you think and if you need anymore help. Thanks - Kimberly

Hi Bloaoj, Kimberly here. If you look at your submission that you did first, there is the original picture and than two smaller ones. I put the two smaller ones up live on Sunday afternoon. Go back to the first submission you did and click on the two smaller designs, and they will enlarge. Thanks, this is the only way I could do this.

Hi Badi, Kimberly here from landscape solutions for you. Thank you for asking the question on your alpine area for landscaping. Thanks also for sending a couple of pictures. This is a great visual for everyone.

I like the idea of going with dwarf trees. Also consider dwarf shrubs in the area. Here are some suggestions for you in your cimate area.

Dwarf Shrubs -

1. Hemlock
2. Hinoki Cypress
3. Blue Pacific Juniper

The Japanese Yew would be a good choice. A weeping Japanese Maple would give you color.

Consider also some variegated shrubs to add a little more color to the landscape. Variegated Fern Spray would be a great choice as it is an upright.

The Arborvitae family is a good choice also. The Emerald Green can mature from ten to twenty feet. The Holmstrup variety is a nice one to incorporate.

An option for you is to do the alpine featuring some natural rocks with shrubs draping over the rocks. You can do one in an area, or a series of three.

Also consider doing a shaped bed in this area or you can do an open plan. You have many options to consider. Let us know what you have in mind as far as designing this area. Be happy to help you out with getting the area more detailed.

Thanks again Badi, and look forward to hearing more about your alpine area.
Kimberly
