Mississippi Climate Zone

Hi Terri, Kimberly here from landscape solutions for you. Thank you for asking the question on what climate zone you live in.

Mississippi has two climate zones, seven and eight. Seven is the upper half and part of middle half of Mississipi. Eight is middle and lower half.

Both zones are excellent for many plant specimens. The main difference is in the sub-tropical and tropical plants. In zone seven you may have to bring the tropical plants indoors in the winter.
