high in phosphorous and low in nitrogen for vegetable gardens and flower bulbs. For a home garden, I'm looking for a product name that is not tremendously expensive and common in the store ? please help be specific...

bone meal

I don't know if this would be expensive or not but bone meal is low in nitrogen and high in phosphorus. I am pretty sure it is readily available in most places. It is great for flowers and home gardens. You should be able to call around in your area and get some. I think it comes in pretty good size bags so this should last you a long time.
