testing your Yucca Canes
by: landscape solutions for you

Hi this landscape solutions for you. Thank you for submitting your question.

You can test your two Yucca plants by taking your fingernail and scratching the bark on the plant. If it is green, it is still healthy. If it is brown, it is in shock. Are they in a container or in the ground? If they are in a pot, you could try replanting the two and add some sand to a light soil mixture. You can also add some vermiculite and some humas. Keep moist but don't over water.

If you have them in the ground, try digging around the base and adding some organic mushroom compost. This is an organic fertilizer that will last up to one year. It doesn't smell great but your Yucca will love it.

Hope this helps a little and let us know how you make out! Good luck and feel free to comment back or if you have any other landscape need, feel free to post it!
